When you buy from a maker, or a indie shop you become part of something bigger. Your money helps them to keep their business going, or enables them to buy special things for their loved ones. Not only does your purchase help financially, but will bring actual happiness to the makers/shop owners.
You will be buying something that is made with love.
As a maker one of my favorite things about Christmas is knowing that the things that I have made will be helping people to share love, and to bring happiness, it is AMAZING!
So here are a few things that I have picked out to share with you guys :)

The Treasured is an online shop created by Laura, collaborating the works of British designers and makers. This shop has a great variety from stationary and home-ware to jewellery. Lots of gift options here.
This mug caught my eye, possibly the most relate-able mug I have seen for a long while, we all have these days! Personally I think this would make a great gift for friends or for co-workers.

KW Jewellery is a new Etsy store specializing in handmade beaded jewellery & wineglass charms, made by Kirsty.
Her shop is full of pieces of jewellery, all of which would make super gifts. I particularly like this Charm bracelet, the beads are a beautiful colour and the charm gives it a little individuality. The price is low enough for this to be a great stocking filler, but I also think it would make a lovely gift on its own too.

Birch Lea Soaperie is an Etsy shop full of Soaps, Candles, Body scrubs, bath melts and more, all of the pampering things! All of which are handmade by Leanne.
It was particularly hard to pick just one thing from Birch Lea Soaperie, so many things that people would love. I chose these Cinnamon bath melts, I love how they are packaged, they look great and according to the reviews smell excellent too.

I have been following Kat from Brierley Bears for a little while now and am in love with her bears. Each is one of a kind, handmade with their own story and character.
This bear is Elfreda, an Elf who after spending too long with humans has forgotten how to Elf, with the exception of being able to conjure up Vanilla Fudge :)
Personally I think one of these Bears would be a really special gift for a loved one.

EnterpriseXDDesign is a shop full of cool, sci-fi/comic related things, all of which are 3D printed by Trevor. Items in this shop range from decorative pieces, jewellery, coasters to practical and helpful things, such as a beer glass holder for the bath/shower!
As a person who enjoys food, and food related objects, The Thork caught my eye. A perfect solution to orange fingers after eating cheesey puffs. I think this would make a brilliant and fun stocking filler.

The shop is run by Ellis, James and their two dogs,
Vespa and Custard.
They do have a great range of Christmas cards too, but I decided to feature this Squirrel print. I thought it is such a cheerful picture to have on your wall. I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't love to have this as a gift.

Diaho Bag is a shop for handbag lovers. So many different bag designs, all made out of natural materials, and all designed and made by Diana.
I liked the look of this clutch, not only for its natural chic design, but also because it is vegan, the leather is made from cork.

Everything Bullets is full of a variety of things made from used Bullets. All of which are handmade by Rick. He has a good range of items, such as Pens, Belt Buckles, Door handles and so much more.
Personally I thought these cufflinks would make a great gift. They are unusual and no doubt a talking point for those wearing them, and they can also be personalized.
